10 oct - 09 nov, 2024 Group exhibition Curated by Taous Dahmani Assembly tells the story of lived experiences, an assembly of artistic testimonies through which photographers and filmmakers expose their “civic vision”, the way in which the gathering is perceived and experienced by those who took part in it.

Through nine proposals, this exhibition pays tribute to all material, political and poetic aspects of these popular gatherings.

06 - 29.March, 2025 "Spiraling Outward" marks the latest intervention by Mashid Mohadjerin, offering a dynamic exploration of her artistic vision. At the same time, Mohadjerin has a solo exhibition at FOMU Antwerp, further expanding on her thought-provoking work. During the show, Mohadjerin showcases photography, collages, and a video installation that reinforce her narrative around the themes of her latest book, Riding In Silence & The Crying Dervish. The book will also be available for viewing and purchase in our space.

The theme 'Landscape of the Imagination', where artists and poets showcase the power of imagination in unique locations in the village and Castle De Lovie, through imaginary landscapes, artists and poets interact with their surroundings.

CC Strombeek - Catch Me If You Can

20 Oct - 01 Dec, 2023 For her exhibition at CC Strombeek, Mohadjerin presents * Catch Me if You Can*, a collection of three new video works that are part of a larger, long-running project about rituals, resistance, and the body within the context of the Middle East. Here, she approaches ancient and contemporary physical rituals and mysticism as ways to offer resistance in silence, express identity, transcend, connect, and belong. On November 18, the artist will present a live performance at the Wunderkammerfestival as part of the exhibition.
